Quinta dos Muros, located on the East slopes of the Pinhão river valley, is the oldest estate of the Mansilha family. This wine is opaque, dark purple in color. It shows primary fruit with some cherry and some light herbal notes along with a touch of spirit. Rich boysenberry and red currant on the palate, with pronounced tannins and a hint of spirit. Fine grained tannins on the very long finish. (92 pts.)
