• 2003 Quinta do Portal + Vintage Port - Portugal, Douro, Porto (9/28/2021)
  Dark ruby-purple in color with dark fruit, violets, and a touch of mocha powder on the nose. Rich blackberry, dark cherry, and boysenberry on the palate. I was worried about this wine’s longevity, as this wine seemed like it was blended to be consumed early in its life, but I am pleasantly surprised at how well the structure and tannins have helped this wine age gracefully. (92 pts.)
