  The Legendary Dona Antonia Adelaide Ferreira used to own Quinta do “Vezuvio.” This bottle was brought to a retirement dinner honoring Dominic Symington, who (until his retirement) was responsible for Quinta do Vesuvio. Brown in color with yellow on the edges. Toasted marshmallow, orange spice, vanilla and espresso on the nose. Intense dark chocolate and coffee bean, with tannins and acidity on the palate. Extremely long finish with notes of cocoa, molasses, and mocha. (92 pts.)
