I was planning on opening a 1963 Gould Campbell VP to share with my family, but then I came down with Covid. Soooo, I scrapped that idea and I'm going to open a 1990 Barao de Vilar Colheita (bottled 2021) since it's now only going to be the Mrs, and I and she doesn't drink Port very often.
I think the '90 Barao Colheita is really very good.

Getting back from Portugal a couple days ago for the second time in as many months, I'm way behind on planning for Thanksgiving wines  . I'll have to sort something out tonight. Perhaps a mag of 1980 Sandeman VP or a 1994 Dow's VP to see how it's coming along? I just don't know. Will report back...

I just served a simple Morgado 10 years old tawny. Unfortunately at this time I don't have access to my cellar. :(

Opened an '83 Ramos Pinto VP. What a beast of the port. Had a little left in decanter last night and still showed a lot of power. 8--)

S. Leonardo Porto 30 Year Old Tawny to go with Thanksgiving desserts, which were pecan and apple pies, with a caramel sauce for the apple.

I opened a 1964 Casa do Douro Colheita bottled in 2003. They're getting long in the bottle, but are still quite tasty and pair nicely with pecan pie.
