1994 Ferreira Vintage Port

1994 Ferreira VP. Decanted 7 hours. Nose has a complex mix of passion fruit, green pepper, lavender and plums. Perhaps the most exotic nose for a ‘94 I’ve had. Still extremely youthful in the mouth. Where many of this vintage are now showing secondary characteristics, this is still tannic and full of primary black fruit with no obvious changes given its approaching 30 years of age. There is a slight touch of unintegrated spirit still, which should integrate nicely as this continues its glacially slow aging profile. A long fruit and tannic driven finish cap off a stunning Port.
