Tasted blind. Big grape primary aromas, with currant, fig, and prune plum. Flavor gives primary fruits, and even some grapefruit. First guessed to be a 2000 VP, then I settled at 2005 Taylor Quinta de Vargellas. Give this more time in the bottle. Tasted again the next day when I then knew what the wine was. It continued to show power and primary fruit, with cherry, raspberry, blueberry, and currant. Nice acidity, and medium-light tannins There was some faint warmth too, and it was fairly sweet. 91-92 points.
