Vista Alegre Vallegre 50 Year Old Tawny

(Bottled 2022.) Lightly hazy, with a mostly brown hue with a little bit of red. Hint of smoke and dust in the aroma, with a suggestion of a deep tang to follow, along with dried figs and sugar syrup with a touch of fenugreek. Plenty of nice acid, good sugar with lots of orange and lemon citrus. Excellent wine, but I slightly preferred the 1969 Vista Alegre Colheita that followed. 96 points.
