For The Love Of Port

(Bottled 2022.) Good clarity with a dark brown color, and smoky brown on the rim. Woody aroma, kind of musty, with tobacco and sous bois. Later there was some lemon-orange citrus varnish aroma. Tastes better than it smells, with really nice acidity mixed with sugars, and still showing some fruit like black cherry and plum skin. Wonderful sugary mix of flavors. 96 points, and slightly edging out the Taylor and Vista Alegre 50 year old tawny blends as my favorite wine of the day.
