1937 Porto Rocha Colheita

Post by Eric Menchen »

(Bottled 2007.) Slightly hazy, red-brown, with fading at the rim. Syrupy maple aroma, along with taffy, caramel, dark fig, and Belgian D-180 candi sugar. There was also a little bit of cola, and later some mustiness. This is a tasty wine, but not was wonderful as some of the earlier tasted wines. 93 points.
