2004 Quinta do Vale Meao vintage port
Decanted 6 hrs which was too short. Next bottle 8 hrs. Deep dark red, nearly black. Wonderful fruit aroma with wood in the backround (slightly floral). Full body. Taste is powerful and elegant. Rich with dark red berries. Nice tannins. Well-balanced acidity/sweetness. Long aftertaste. Still young and will benefit further 3-4 years in the cellar. 93 pts.
