1991 Croft VP.
Decanted ~7 hrs. Very dark color with just a bit of lightened bricking on the edges. Youthful plums still dominate the nose and palate. Moderate tannins give to a dash of anise and are balance by good acidity, which also is keeping the sweetness in check. A VP that is nowhere near peak yet and still has a long life ahead of it. During which time it will continue to develop and eventually take on secondary notes. Absolutely delicious, but over the next 10-20 more years it will only get better.
