Heritage Auctions

Post by jfacciol »

I have listed the balance of my port collection and a few sauternes with Heritage Auctions. If anyone is interested in browsing the auction listings and perhaps bidding, here is the link.

You can view and bid on my entire consignment in the Wine Showcase Auction #24161 at the following link: https://wine.HA.com/c/search.zx?saleNo= ... ive-notice.

If you know anyone who might be interested, please just pass on the information.

Where is this auction physically taking place? In particular, I'm wondering where the bottles will be shipped from. Shipping from California has become much more of a hassle, requiring a third party. I wanted to buy from a recent Christie's auction in LA, but skipped it because I wasn't going to buy enough to make it worth the shipping effort.

Wow, some rare and plentiful stuff in here.
'51 Feist
'52 Malvedos Crusted
3x '70 Santos Magnums
A full case of '67 Martinez
'70 Coreira
Nine '88-bottled Churchill Crusteds.
A bunch of '80s LBVs, including Warre's and RP
As well as full cases of all kinds of good stuff.

I'm tapped out for the year but if you have the dough, I'd go nuts on these.

I really wouldn't sell a collection like this, it will outperform the stock market.
All is fair in love and Warre's

As to the first inquiry, I believe Heritage's warehouse is in North Hollywood, California.

As to the second comment, thanks.
