  Medium-dark ruby in color. Pleasant cocoa powder, red fruits, pomegranate, and light spirit on the nose. The spirit also shows up on the palate, along with raspberry jam and cassis. The finish has noticeable acidity and there is still that touch of spirit. (91 pts.)
