• 2020 Quevedo Vintage Port - Portugal, Douro, Porto (12/14/2022)
  Day 14 of the Quevedo 2022 Prestige Advent Calendar. 90ml bottle. Very dark, inky purple-black in color. There are some violet and light herbal notes on the nose, along with freshly crushed blueberries and black currants. The entry is smooth, and as the tannins appear on the mid-palate, I feared for a moment that they would overwhelm the fruit. However, they balanced beautifully and there was a powerful but harmonious quality to this wine as it sauntered through the very long finish. (94 pts.)
