Bottled 2023.
Very, very dark molasses colored with hint of green gold at rim.
Dense aromas of brown sugar, lime-aide, hazelnuts, dried figs and dates.
Very rich and sweet on palate, but with great balancing acidity. More brown sugar, limes, pralines, dried fruits on palate.
Very rich, great balance, great intensity.
This is great stuff. I can see why they kept it so long before release.
96 points. Maybe just a hair behind the 1920 Cossart-Gordon which is my favorite Malvasia of the 20th century.
