• 1999 J.H. Andresen Porto Vintage - Portugal, Douro, Porto (9/26/2022)
  Dark purple in color but seems to have some light brown hues intermixed. There are floral and light herbal notes on the nose. The initial approach comes across as slightly elegant, but then the tannins come crashing through the mid-palate. Some smooth chocolate and blueberry notes on the palate, and a velvety texture on either side of the big tannins. Very long finish. (93 pts.)
