Cask sample. Blended exclusively for us, this approximately 40-year-old Tawny Port displays an amber-brown hue. There are subtle notes of orange spice, old wood, and caramel on the nose. The rich, smooth, slightly dry flavor profile has good acidity and pleasant notes of dried nuts, orange spice, and caramel. The very long finish carries some pleasant almond skin bitterness. (93 pts.)
