  Cask sample. This wine is a dark amber-brown color. It is a straight cask sample, not a blend, and shows lovely mahogany and brown sugar notes on the nose. The palate has beautiful chocolate and espresso bean notes, surprising smoothness, and elegance in body weight. Root beer notes and a touch of almond skin bitterness linger on the very long finish.
