  Cask sample. This is a 142 Year Old Tawny Port. It is brown-orange in color with yellow and green on the edges. The viscousness of this Port in the glass is insanely thick and coats the inside of the glass with a brown-yellow sheen that holds for what seems like minutes. You can smell the age on this wine - old leather, antique furniture, and deep dark chocolate. The entry is a cacophony of complex flavors - lime, Werther's candy, torrefacted sugars, maple and molasses. This wine is strikingly smooth on the palate. It is deep and rich, but everything seems to have integrated here perfectly. This is a 142 year old glass of perfection. It is so approachable and pleasurable in the mouth with richness, great balance, and incredible acidity. (99 pts.)
