Cask sample. This wine is dark purple with bright ruby edges. There is primary fruit aromas on a subtle nose, featuring fresh crushed blackberry with hints of spirit and herbs. The mouth-puckering entry unfolds with sweet fruit and pronounced tannins, leading to a mid-palate rich in primary dark fruits. It has a long finish. (91 pts.)
