• NV Kopke Porto 50 Year Old Tawny - Portugal, Douro, Porto (9/30/2022)
  Amber-orange in color. There are some really interesting smoky notes on the nose, accompanied by torrefaction sugars, dried fruits, and wood shavings. With a wonderful balance that can retain incredible power, there are complex waves of caramel, caramelized orange slices, dried apricots, and honey notes on the palate. The long finish features great acidity and superb balance. This is a fantastic 50 Year Old Tawny. (96 pts.)
