Iron Maiden making a Portuguese Wine
For all you heavy metal lovers, get ready for a refreshing Douro wine from Iron Maiden and Van Zeller Wine.
Not sure where all it will be available.

That actually sounds good!
I haven't kept up with the band since college, but they were part of my regular rotation back then. I had rather eclectic taste in music, spanning just about everything.

On the one hand, I generally view such things like this as marketing gimmicks. On the other, a Van Zeller Douro wine of TN and Roriz is something I would definitely be interested in.

Right. I love Maiden, but I'm holding out for the AC/DC Charlotte's very very very old Acacia Avenue tawny; maybe I'll try some of Eddie's "old bones" white while I'm waiting...

Impressive that she can do both they intense growling voice and the very clean singing voice! I wonder how long that will last... seems like the growling has to affect your vocal cords over time.

I'm told with proper training, you don't sacrifice your voice.

I was at one of their shows in Tokyo close to the rail. The vocalist stared me in the eyes with a big smile and flipped me the bird. Only time I didn't mind!

I'm really impressed on how Youtube is able to generate subtitles from such "music" or noise ahaha.Eric Ifune wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2024 2:17 pm Someone else.

In the same vein as Maiden, there are a lot of alternatives in Europe, but come on... anyway growling and over compressed distortion is not for me.

Judas Priest has a rum and maybe something else as well. I haven't bought any musical band liquor so far.
