(Bottled 2018) Tasted blind. Swirling gives chemicals in the aroma for this wine as were found in the previously tasted one (1996 Krohn Colheita). There are alcohol spirits as well, and then some sugars show up. With some time, the aroma develops, with sugars and cinnamon. At first the body seems medium-light, but then it builds. Despite a weak start, this became a wonderful drink. 94+ points. (17 May 24)
This was at least the third time I've had this wine, and this was the best showing. Previously I tasted bottlings from 2014 and 2016.
