Kopke 40 Year Old Tawny

(Bottled 2023) Thicker concentrated sugar aromas than the prior tasted 1967 colheita, with a little cooked stewed fruit. There are also aromas of dried leaf and leather. The body is medium-light, with lots of good flavor. The aroma later showed some maple syrup, but this was subtle. The flavor improved with time, going from 93 to 94 points. (18 May 24)
