(77 g/l sugar, 7.99 g/l TA.) Presenting great clarity, this comes in darker than anything else tasted earlier (Verdelho to 1984, Sercial to 1910, and a 2004 Tinta Negra) at ~25 SRM. It smells of cinnamon and wood, and swirling gives sugars, vanilla, and citrus. Sam suggests an aroma of tequila, and I can accept that. Tangy acidity, with a nice mix of sugars to go along with that. Really nice medium body and a lot of fun sugars in the flavor. I love the thickness of this wine. 93+ points.
