TN: NV Barbeito 30 Years Old Dueto Verdelho

(Bottled May 2024. 59 g/l RS, 9.24 g/l TA. Made with winemaker Susan Estaban, from Spain, but now working in the Alentejo.) Initially presents with a rubbery aroma, then faint honey floral perfume. Similar in flavor to the 1994 MEF Verdelho, with some additional subtle suggestions of wood, tar, and creosote. There is lots of acidity in the puckering finish. This has more body than the 1994, but seems almost muddled. 92 points.
