TN: NV Barbeito 40 Years Old O Vinho do Reitor Malvasia
(Bottled March 2023. 97 g/l RS, 8.01 g/l TA. Reitor translates to dean, and refers to the father of o engenheiro.) The aromas initially are of green herbs and weeds, followed by a hint of limon, and then marigold. In the mouth, this is quite sweet and puckering with some red fruit like plum. It is syrupy sweet and pleasant, with a nice tang in the finish. 93 points.
