Darker red-brown in color, with nice clarity and just a little bit of haze. There is a sous bois aroma, with some bathroom cleaning chemical, and then some exotic incense spice like sandalwood or myrrh. Don’t swirl this—that just stirs up the chemical aromas. There is lots of alcohol warmth, but it is not unpleasant. Medium bodied, this still has some fruit and is quite nice. 90 points.
