1964 Taylor Vargellas VP

Deep red brown color with good clarity. There is a dried fruit aroma, along with light spiciness, wood, and some mustiness as well. It is warm in the finish to the point of that being too much. I didn’t note flavors at the time, and think the alcohol was dominant there as well. 88 points.
