Tasted blind in a horizontal of 1994 VPs. Presents with a tangy, juicy, fruity aroma, and seems a little cooked. There was also a suggestion of cola and later some lighter fruit aromas, like watermelon slightly concentrated. Medium bodied, this has nice tannins and a tangy finish. It lacks the fruit power of some of the wines tasted, and also has a weird flavor like wintergreen. 91 points.
