2003 Fonseca VP
Smells of primary fruits, like plum and blueberries, along with grape skins. Huge powerful juice with lots of primary fruit flavors that reflect the aromas. Very primary now, but also great drinking now. I almost scored this 96 points, but will stick with 95 after some other great wines like the 1994 and 1985 Fonseca that just edged this out. Keep this one for long term aging. It might very well score higher in the future.
