AO-SM is for Annibel Oliveiras- Sao Martinho. D'Oliverias was a partidista back then and this wine came from the family vineyards in the parish of Sao Martinho. Sadly the vineyards no longer exist.
Very dark molasses color shot with gold and a greenish rim.
Aromas of brown sugar, hazelnuts, oranges and limes.
Quite dense on the palate with more brown sugar and molasses. Pralines, almonds, tangerines, and grapefruit. Quite sweet but balanced with intense acidity. Rich and concentrated.
Rich long finish with more molasses and limes.
95 points.
