1980 Fonseca VP
Lighter colored, with good clarity. Starts with a pleasant wood aroma, along with dried leaf, faint fruit, and candied fruit. The flavor is similar to the aromas, and pleasant. The wine is medium bodied, with no tannins, and mild acidity. The acidity seemed to increase with time giving a nice tangy pucker. 92+ points.
