1955 Quinta do Noval Nacional VP

Initially presents an aroma of rotten, sweaty socks; with some perfume behind that fighting to be recognized. The aroma is improving with time—hopefully it will blow off. It tastes better than it smells, with some fruit. A big sip is better, with more flavor to counteract the aroma. There is some alcohol warmth in the finish. But the off aroma never fully went away. 92 points.
