1966 Quinta do Noval Nacional VP

This has a deep and almost meaty aroma, with some prunes and figs. Wonderfully juicy and fruity flavors, with a tangy and thick body. Strong flavors of currants, red and black, with some of the associated acidity as I recall. Later I noticed spicy menthol and grape stem notes. 94-95 points.
