Ever since having been at the Seattle Madeira Tasting in 1-2007 I dreamed of something similar in Germany or Central Europe. So it is my pleasure to announce a Madeira Wine Tasting in May 2008 in Germany.
This tasting will take in place in Westphalia. It is planned to open 12 to 15 old Madeira vintage wines from the 19th and early 20th century. The number of attendants will be matching the wines, since each attendant will bring along one old Madeira wine to taste. The tasting will be accompanied by a special menu. The cost for the menu, renting of the tasting room and the glasses will not exceed 100,- Euros. Accommodation and travel will be your own responsibility.
