The tour was sold out and we wound up with four men and seven women. We've never had more than two women on any single trip, so this is a unique dynamic and should be interesting to see how they handle 200 wines in a week. I know a couple of them and they'll be fine ... one includes a famous winemaker from CA.
I wanted to let everyone know that instead of putting daily notes here on the Forum, I will be using the homepage Blog every day to provide updates of the trip while it is in progress. I know many people won't bother to go to the homepage to see that, but those of you who like to hear about a large number of Ports and Madeiras per day and where we are visiting ... can get a feel for the trip that way!
