This was a strange one after first decanting hot at the start with a full on blackberry finnish six hours later full on blackberry with a hot finnish altogether not a bad port but I can't tell if it will last or ready now, I think it was a port made for the home market.88 (Roy knows I'm a tight marker

I thought
finnish was a language
That apart, this is a shipper who's product is rarely seen in the UK
Where did you get the bottle?

This is the second recent report I've seen on an '89 port on these pages (the other was Nick's note on the Vesuvio '89). Neither were particularly good - consistent with the year not being seen as a standout year.

Sorry about the spelling Tom it was a result of the moscatel

As to the Burmester I've been buying from a couple of German shops and getting them sent over. The 89 had the edge over the 80,the 96. The Colheita 96 I had was pretty good they are all reasonably priced.
