I also wish I had your skill in taking pictures of individual bottles. Mine always look somewhat distorted.

Dear Eric,
To avoid distortion it is best to have some distance to the bottle and close up with about 80 to 120 mm focus of anormal SLR camera, about the length that you would use for a portrait. Often the available light is a problem, but I take three or four different shots (electrons are cheap), sometimes with different exposures and with or without flash and in the end one picture is satisfactory. All the pictures shown from the tasting were rather dark, so I enhanced brightness and contrast and they woked out ok.
