IVDP ACTIVITIES IN BELGIUM & USA

Belgium: Joint Promotional Partnership with other DOC Products
The IVDP has initialled a partnership with Cubacigar and Galler which aims to promote jointly Port Wine, cigars and chocolates. A total of 21 events – organized in conjunction with AICEP/ Portuguese Trade Office in Brussels – will take place for catering college students, sommeliers and cigar aficionados.
The launch of this exciting project was held on the 25th June at the B52 restaurant in the Belgian capital. An individual presentation of each of the three products was given for the trade press and sommeliers. This was followed by a lunch themed on chocolate, prepared by Galler chef, Robrecht Wolters. The event ended on a high note, with a combined presentation of all the products given by food and wine expert Eric Boschman.
