For The Love Of Port

Cork showed signed of seepage. Some staining on the label. Nose definitely smelled corky / musty, suggesting a coked bottle. However, I (of course) braved a taste and the palate only showed very slight signs of anything funky going on. Given the state of the cork, it was a pleasant surprise that this opened up so well in the decanter. Not a stellar bottle, but... 86 points. (8-2-2008)
