NV Dow's Trademark Finest Reserve Port

From a tasting at Pete's Fine Wines in Bellevue, WA, on December 14, 2008.
Dow's Trademark Finest Reserve Porto
paired against Graham's Six Grapes
Deep red color. Smells... well, somewhat dry. It has a tangy, acidic air about it rather than a boistrous, fruity nose.
Very nice in the mouth. Smooth. The flavors and tannins are all very well integrated. There is fruit evident, but it's not in-your-face and aggressive.
Winner of the pair by a fair margin for me, which surprised me. I normally keep a couple of halves of the Graham's Six Grapes around in case I feel the need for a ruby, so now I'll have to add a couple of these to my stash.
