NV Quinta do Infantado Medium-Dry Tawny Port

From a tasting at Pete's Fine Wines in Bellevue, WA, on December 14, 2008.
Quinta do Infantado Medium-Dry Tawny Porto
paired against Dow's 10-yr Old Tawny Porto
Red with some amber tones that lighten it up. Can't detect anything in the nose because the glass is still overpowered by the orange blossom scent of the Campbells Rutherglen Muscat. The flavor is nice, but somewhat rough. Some honey and heat are about all that I can detect.
This wasn't a landslide for me, but I picked the Dow's out of this pair.
