Interesting that amber glass is stated to provide the best protection against light damage

However, the article seems to have an emphasis on white wines so perhaps black glass didn't figure in their considerations?

The description of the off flavors in the first article sounded more like DMS to me (dimethyl sulfide), which is a little different from beer skunking. But both are sulfur compounds and unpleasant in my book. -Eric
