I found this bottle again, while taking pics of all different bottles i have. Tucked away in the back of my cabinet.

On the label it says:
C.N. Kopke, the eldest portshipper since 1638, especially bottles this Kopke Special Rich Ruby Port to express the pleasant cooperation between Rotterdam and Oporto during the cultural year 2001
I thought it would be nice to share it with you all.

It looks like a Kopke Ruby Port by the label, but other than that I have no idea, but will try and find out for you. I do like the label, its quite cool.

Thanks a lot for sharing it. I love to see those kind of labels. And for anyone that does, a stop by the IVDP's museum in Regua is a must. They have a collection of some great old bottles with the funniest labels on them. In a couple days I will try to upload some of them into the PORTrats section for all to check out. I don't know if you are a subscriber, but if you are please upload it to the PORTrats section also for others to see and to keep permanently in our growing collection. Thanks

A very cool looking bottle. Andy and I have seen some pretty old and wild labels in Regua at the IVDP solar. Unfortunately those bottles are no longer displayed. Erik has posted many bottle shots in PORTraits which is most appreciated!

Thats a major bummer

. When did they do this? Even though that part of the shop was closed when we stopped by a year ago, I could see still see the large racks with them in it.
