Cellar visits at Vila Nova de Gaia

Post by Carlos Rodriguez »

I just went back to visit some of Vila Nova's cellars.

Some were very disappointing. Like Calem's. Many people, pour explanation, showing only a very small part of the 'Caves' and at the end giving you to try some of the worst wines of Calem', sat in inconvinient sits. I do not recommend it.

Nevertheless they were others very nice. Like Graham's or Taylor's. They do show you the 'Caves' with a good explanation and answering properly all the cuestions without hurry, giving you to try some wines like lbv or 10 years twany (in Graham's). It is worth being going to see them.
