I let it breathe in the bottle for over an hour (noticed the cork was barely stained a light pink at the very bottom tip).

Colour was a medium, inky purple, almost a burgundy colour, getting some red clay around the edges. Nose is very earthy, including gorgonzola and barely perceptible nuts (like walnut or pecan), dark berries; musty, perhaps very mild wet leather. Bland palate, subdued berries, short-medium finish. A little tannic, but not especially dry. Medium body. Grows on you each glass, but nothing stellar.

I had taken one glass when I opened the bottle and let it sit for 15 minutes and it was markedly livelier and fruitier than it was after an hour and a half decanting, unfortunatley I didn't take any notes off that first glass. Great for quaffing within the first hour, but not much beyond that in my opinion. It went great with a seared ribeye that was finished off in the oven with Worcester and Montreal steak spice.
