Hi
Has anyone declared for 2006? I've found a few SQVP from Kopke, Churchill and Quinta do Pego, but I haven't seen much else. Does anyone have a full list of 2006 SQVP's?

For whatever reason, (mostly weather conditions) not many Port producers declared a 2006. Some ignored it altogether and did not have enough quality grapes to put into a full VP release, so they declassified the grapes into other Port types and bolstered up their LBVs with better juice or even reserved the Port for their Tawny blends.

I think Cockburn produced a single quinta, but I need to verify that to be sure.

Quinta do Portal VP 2006 is very good. As Roy said, the best grapes were used for LBVs. I think the 2006 will age quite fast so we will find by the next 3 years some interesting LBVs to drink while young.
