Thought you all may be interested in a port tasting. They are calling it a Port Seminar. It focuses on Krohn ports, but I guess that is OK. I went to this same place for a port tasting about a year ago and it was a pretty good experience so I figured I would tell others about it.

This Friday May 8th at 6:30pm

Seats limited to 20
Please plan on arriving no later than 6:35

Rick,

Thanks for the info. I wish I could go as that is just a few miles from me, but I have other plans :(
A good line up.

Do you work at the wine store, or did you just run across it?

I don't work at it and I am not affiliated in any way. I should have put that in the original post. I live nearby and thought it would be something good to post here. If more people attend maybe they will have it more often. That would be good for everyone.

Yes I hope more people can go to it. Port tastings are few and far between in these parts, especially this time of year.

I've sent you an email, you live quite close to me...hopefully we can meet up one day soon and crack some Port :winepour:

Andy,

I sent a reply to your email. It would be nice to try some nice port with you. My brother-in-law lives nearby in Yorba Linda, CA and he also enjoys port. I am relatively new to Port. Only been enjoying it for a few years. I think my favorites are older Colheitas and tawnys. However, I have never tried a real serious aged vintage port which may mean I have never really enjoyed port :D .

Sounds interesting! I wish I could go, but I really doubt that I'd be able to make it to Fullerton by 6:30. Nevertheless, thanks for posting it....

Marc,
It's only a short drive all across L.A., most likely in heavy traffic, so you'll be ready for a drink by the time you get there. I say you should go  :winebath:
