1977 Graham's Vintage Port
This vintage of Graham’s has a reputation for being very hot on the palate most of it’s life. So I was looking forward to see how it was doing as of late, and to validate if a bottle consumed a few months earlier was consitant. Showing some bricking in the color the nose was tight with a strange graham cracker nose. The palate was big and full bodied, but not too sweet. Some white cherries were balanced with good structure and no signs of prior excessive heat. I think this is finally coming together and integrating after 30 years. The tannins come late but are a force to be recon with and they lead into a long full bodied finish. A very good showing of this bottle. 94 points.
